*Call to Worship Responsive Reading, from Psalm 16
Leader: Keep us safe, O God, for in you we take refuge. You are our Lord; apart from you we have no good thing.
All: Lord, you assign us our portion and our cup; you make our lot secure.
Leader: The boundary lines have fallen for us in pleasant places; surely we have a delightful inheritance.
All: We will praise the Lord, who counsels us; even at night our hearts instruct us. We set the Lord always before us.
Leader: Because he is at our right hand, we will not be shaken. Therefore, our hearts are glad, and our tongues rejoice; our bodies will rest secure.
All: You have made known to us the path of life; you fill us with joy in your presence and with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Call to Confession
Unison Prayer of Confession
Almighty God, we confess our own arrogance and pride. We neglect to praise you; we forget to give thanks; we rely on our own understanding more than on your wisdom and grace. Distractions keep us from honoring you. False hope and busyness crowd out times of prayer. Forgive our sins, cleanse us from guilt, and restore our confidence in the salvation offered to us by Christ. Show us how to encourage one another to persevere through trials, in full assurance of your love and mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
This is the covenant I will make with them, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds. Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more…We have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:10, 15-17
*Hymn of the Month I Will Enter His Gates Insert
Our Giving to the Lord Pastor
The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and exalts. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. We are encouraged to give as God has blessed us, bringing offerings to express our thanks and caring, spurring one another to good deeds. 1 Samuel 2:7-8 and Hebrews 10:24
