The voice of the Lord splits the mighty cedars.

Call to Confession

Unison Prayer of Confession

Gracious and merciful God, forgive our fears, our self-interest, and our prideful choices. Although the fires of your Spirit burn bright, we fear we may be consumed or overwhelmed if we commit to you all we have and all we are. We retreat to safe places where we hope to avoid challenges, conflicts, and uncertainty. When we shrink from risks, we miss much that enriches life with you. Free us for daring service to your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Silent Prayer of Confession

Assurance of Pardon                                                                                Pastor

In Christ, God has redeemed us, claimed us, and called us by name. We have an eternal assurance of relationship with the God whom we can trust in life and death. He gives us strength and blesses us with peace. Praise the Lord!

God has gathered us from East and West, from North and South, to offer our best in worship and praise. Now we bring the fruits of our labor as an offering of thanks. May our generosity aspire to match the lavish gifts we have received from God’s hand.
