*Call to Worship Responsive Reading
Leader: Some of us come to worship today weary and worn, heavy with concerns that are too much to bear alone.
All: We hear God calling us in the words of scripture and song. We had nearly forgotten His care for us.
Leader: Some of us come to worship today dry and thirsty, longing for relief and peace from the troubles of the world.
All: God offers hope when we have lost our way. The Spirit breathes life into our dry bones.
Leader: Some of us come to worship today with stories of little resurrections, moments of new life; our stories are stepping stones to faith in the compassion, love, and redemption Christ offers.
All: Jesus calls us out of the grave. All that he does is for our benefit, that we might believe and be set free to live in the Spirit of God.

Call to Confession
O Lord, out of the depths we cry to you. Hear our voices. Let your ears be attentive to our cries for mercy. If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness. We confess our neglect of your will; we admit our desire to rule in your place. Our sins separate us from you, and we are like dead people, going through the motions of living. We cry out to you for a new start, and we wait for you with our whole being. We put our faith in your Word. By your steadfast love, redeem us and raise us up to service in your name. Amen.
Silent Prayer of Confession
Assurance of Pardon Pastor
Jesus says to us, Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:40). Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ, the Spirit of life sets us free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:1).
