All: Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to your name.”

Leader: Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works in people’s behalf! He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot – come, let us rejoice in him!

All: Praise our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard; he has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping… he has brought us to a place of abundance. Come and listen, all you who fear God; let me tell you what He has done for me.

Call to Confession

Unison Prayer of Confession

Holy God, we do not understand why you keep on loving us, for we do not deserve your love. We hurt our loved ones. We turn our backs on the needy. We are prideful and selfish, seeking revenge for petty wrongs rather than forgiving others. We confess our repeated failure to obey you, recognizing that our wrongful words and actions are sins against you. Forgive us and fill us with your Spirit, that we may live in ways that please you. In Jesus’ name we ask, Amen.

Silent Prayer of Confession

Assurance of Pardon                                                                                                      Pastor

Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God (1 Peter 3:18). As we repent of sin, God’s love dries our tears; God’s forgiveness picks us up; God’s peace settles our hearts and minds. In the name of the risen Christ, you are forgiven and made whole.

God has assigned us our portion and our cup; He has set the boundary lines in pleasant places and given us a delightful inheritance (Psalm 16:5-6). Let each of us use whatever gift we have received, faithfully sharing God’s grace in many forms.
