For a Mother's Day celebration at Buckner Retirement Community, our Pine Tree Cumberland Presbyterian Church volunteers, Rev. Cindy Barton and Nancy Abernathy, helped the residents create a standing poster board in tribute to their Mothers.
The residents were encouraged to color flowers, and arrange them along with stems and a vase. Many took part and provided dazzling color choices. Additionally placed on the poster were two poems printed to emphasize how important and loving mothers have been in the residents lives.
